Avaada Foundation is dedicated to giving underprivileged communities the power of education by setting up libraries in remote villages and underserved regions across India. We believe these libraries are the key to building brighter, future-ready societies.
Our Centers of Learning
These libraries are far more than just rooms with books; they are vibrant centers for growth and community engagement. We’ve established them in numerous locations, including:
- Uttar Pradesh: Lohvan (Mathura); Khodaila, Chichlik, Basuhari, Jayapur, Nagepur (Sonbhadra/Varanasi)
- Rajasthan (Bikaner): Bharukheera, Karnisar Bhatiyan, Barju, Badnu
- Gujarat: Surendranagar, Bachau, Tavi, Varsani
- Madhya Pradesh: Kumhar Pipaliya (Agar Malwa)
- Maharashtra: Shridhane (Dhule), Nagpur
Fostering a Love for Reading
To make sure children truly benefit, we equip every library with a dedicated teacher. These teachers:
- Help children learn to read.
- Run engaging activities and competitions to make reading fun.
- Spark curiosity and a lifelong love for books.
Our libraries are filled with diverse books—from school resources to fiction and general knowledge—catering to all ages. We ensure they have good seating, lighting, and often, digital resources to bring urban opportunities to rural areas.
Through these libraries, along with school refurbishments and digital programs, the Avaada Foundation is not just boosting literacy; we are building a more inclusive future for generations to come.
