At Avaada Foundation, we are expanding access to clean and renewable energy across underserved communities through rooftop solar installations, solar microgrids, inverters, batteries and trollies , and energy-efficient lighting solutions. These interventions are helping reduce energy poverty while creating safer, more resilient villages powered by sustainable development.
Our rural electrification journey began with pioneering solar initiatives that continue to transform communities more than a decade later. From establishing two 25 kW solar power plants in Jayapur (PM adopted Village), to installing a 25 kW solar project in Hoongla, Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) and developing solar microgrids in Leh and Kargil, we have demonstrated how renewable energy can become a catalyst for inclusive growth.
Beyond powering homes, our interventions illuminate schools, strengthen healthcare facilities, improve public safety through solar street lighting, and provide reliable energy solutions for community infrastructure. By enabling uninterrupted access to clean energy, we are helping communities unlock new opportunities for learning, livelihoods, and sustainable economic development while contributing to India’s clean energy transition.
