At Avaada Foundation, we are dedicated to ensuring that education reaches every child, no matter how remote their community. Through our school bus support initiatives, we are addressing one of the biggest barriers to education in rural and tribal regions—safe and reliable transportation.
Transforming Access Across Tribal Regions of Madhya Pradesh
Avaada Foundation has deployed five 42 seater school buses across tribal and remote regions of Madhya Pradesh, covering Betul, Dongla, Raisen, Bankhedi, and Siyarmau. These buses have transformed daily access to education for children from tribal villages, ensuring they can travel safely and consistently to their schools. By reducing long walking distances and safety risks, the initiative has strengthened school attendance and eased the burden on families.
In Betul District, 543 students from 18 villages in Jamethi are now attending primary and secondary schools regularly with the support of 42-seater school buses. Similarly, in Ujjain District, 550 children from Mahidpur have gained dependable access to schooling, overcoming earlier challenges related to distance and connectivity.
Positive Impact on Attendance and Learning
These buses are doing more than providing transportation—they are improving attendance, punctuality, and academic engagement. With assured mobility, children are able to attend school consistently, while parents feel more confident and motivated to invest in their children’s education.
Looking Ahead
Building on this impact, Avaada Foundation is set to launch its sixth school bus service in Manduwala, Dehradun, further expanding access to education in underserved regions. Each bus represents a step closer to our vision of inclusive education, ensuring that no child is left behind and every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future.
