Our honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, recently illuminated nine key areas for our
youth to focus on during Navratri. It is with immense pride and privilege that we can declare that
Avaada Foundation has already embarked on this noble journey for several years. We have
aligned our vision with that of our respected Prime Minister, working diligently across these
essential domains, reflecting the very essence of a conscientious personality.
Water Security:
The first task issued by Shri Narendra Modi ji was centered on water security. In a world where
the concern for water security is paramount, we, as Indians, have a deep-rooted connection with
nature. Our reverence for water, our calling of rivers as mothers, and our terming of water as
god, all illustrate the profound relationship between us and nature. To restore this harmonious
balance with the environment, Avaada Foundation has implemented numerous rainwater
harvesting systems across all the O&M sites of Avaada Group, taking significant steps to
conserve and protect this precious resource.
Adopting Villages:
The second call to action was to adopt villages, recognizing the heart and soul of India. It is our
solemn duty to provide these rural communities with essential services. Avaada Foundation, for
years, has dedicated itself to the service of these rural communities.Avaada Foundation is
dedicated to the growth and development of students in Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s
adopted villages of Jayapur and Nagepur, Varanasi. We offer technical knowledge, English
language improvement, assistance in post-school studies, financial support through scholarships,
motivational speeches, and career counseling services, nurturing holistic development among the
students.
We provide essential services like electricity, technology, food, clothes, health, promoting
education, employment and empowering women with much required skills to help these vital
centers of our society. By establishing solar rooftop in remote villages and government schools,
we brighten the future, echoing the Prime Minister’s vision.
One of our flagship initiatives is the adoption of government schools in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
Our mission is to transform these schools by renovating dilapidated structures and providing
quality education, rivalling that of private institutions. Scholarships are awarded to deserving and
underprivileged students nationwide, granting them the opportunity to make significant
contributions to our country’s progress.
Cleanliness:
Cleanliness is an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment. In our
commitment to preserving the cleanliness of our surroundings, Avaada Foundation has organized
numerous cleanliness drives, where our employees actively participate. These ‘Swachha Bharat’
campaigns have spanned across multiple villages such as Bikaner’s Bheerukheera, Jayapur,
Nagepur and villages of Mathura and Rishikesh. Students and employees from all the sites come
together in an effort to keep the environment clean.
Vocal for Local:
In the vibrant tapestry of our nation, every festival unfurls a new chapter of joy, hope, and
endless opportunities. This is the heart and soul of India, a land where traditions and celebrations
come alive with a radiant spirit. Avaada Foundation, guided by the spirit of these festivities,
decided to brighten homes with products made by our fellow countrymen. We started by selling
traditional clay lamps called ‘diyas’ to their employees. The team distribute the collected funds
generated from these stalls back to these rural women.
This effort is not just about selling products. It’s about honoring our local traditions, supporting
the hard work of our fellow citizens, and making their voices heard.
Organic Farming:
At Avaada Foundation, we are deeply committed to fostering a harmonious relationship with
nature. Our farming practices extend across all the project sites within the Avaada Group. We’ve
recently introduced our dedicated farmers to the innovative Miyawaki method, which has yielded
remarkable results. Through this pioneering technique, we’ve successfully executed extensive
plantation projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan, Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, and Surendranagar, Gujarat.
Our primary objective has been to establish a thriving and diverse forest ecosystem that not only
improves air quality but also provides a sanctuary for our feathered friends.
Avaada Foundation has taken great care in planting and nurturing over one lakh trees using the
Miyawaki technique. These saplings have flourished into mature trees, significantly contributing
to the local ecosystems and overall environmental health. Our commitment to this green legacy
remains unwavering, and we are determined to expand this noble cause on a grand scale.
Furthermore, we are actively empowering farmers to increase their productivity while
combatting climate change through the adoption of organic agriculture. Our ‘Kheti Ki Pathshala’
session in the village of Bheerukheera, Rajasthan, delves into crucial topics such as sustainable
production, organic certification, market insights, and government subsidies. By ensuring that
farmers are well-informed and supported in implementing organic farming and environmentally
friendly practices, we aim to foster sustainable agricultural practices.
Nourishing with Nutritious Millets:
Involving millets in the regular diet was another call for action mentioned by Shri Narendra
Modi Ji. The Avaada Foundation’s commitment to food donation is unwavering. Every act of
giving is like a heartbeat, keeping the spirit of compassion alive. The foundation extends a
helping hand by distributing food packets that include rice and millets to the local people, in
many states throughout the year, especially during the auspicious Sawan Month, every Monday.
The grand Food Donation drive, organized during Akshaya Tritiya and the entire month of
Sawan, is a testament to our commitment to serving the community on a larger scale. It’s a time
when generosity flows like a river, nourishing not only the bodies but also the spirits of those
who receive it.
Fitness:
Recognizing the significance of sports and fitness activities in promoting a healthy lifestyle,
Avaada Foundation has taken steps to encourage and support the spirit of sports. We proudly
honored various talented young athletes from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, in line with Shri Narendra
Modi Ji’s call to promote sports and fitness. We firmly believe in the power of the youth to bring
about positive change, and we’ve initiated multiple programs to empower them. This includes
skill development opportunities and addressing the challenges young people encounter in
accessing education and livelihood.
We’ve also organized and sponsored numerous sports events for underprivileged sections of
society and hosted Yoga Campsfor thousands of young people to enhance physical and mental
well-being. Youth development holds a central place in our efforts, as we’ve established sports
fields in villages and provided sports equipment to schools to foster a culture of sports and games
among the youth.
Handholding Poor Families:
As part of our unwavering commitment to stand by underprivileged families and provide them
with essential sustenance, Avaada Foundation has adopted five families in Jayapur and Nagepur
villages. We take care of all their needs, provide monthly grain rations and medicines to these
needy families, ensuring they can have access to food and health care with dignity. The dry food
grain kit we distribute includes essentials like flour, sugar, chana dal, rice, salt, onions, potatoes,
mustard oil, tea leaves, turmeric, and chili powder.
