Transformative Impact of Avaada Foundation’s Solar Energy Projects
The Avaada Foundation has made a significant impact in the realm of sustainable energy and education by implementing solar energy projects across various schools in India.
In Nokhra, at the Govt. Senior Secondary School, the foundation installed a 5 KW Off Grid Roof Top System. This project has revolutionized the school’s infrastructure, powering a 24-desktop computer lab, additional office equipment, lighting and fan systems in 8 rooms, a water pump, an e-classroom, and a water cooler. This sustainable energy solution has greatly enhanced the educational environment, facilitating advanced learning opportunities.
Further, in Dhamangaon, the Zilla Parishad Upper Primary School, Shirasgaon Korde Dhamangaon, benefited from a 2KW Off Grid Roof Top System with a 150AH battery. This installation supports a smart classroom, four additional classrooms, a staff room, and an office room. The energy system efficiently powers approximately 10 ceiling fans, 10 tube lights, a smart board, and other essential office and classroom utilities. This advancement has notably improved the quality of education and the comfort of both students and staff.
Lastly, in Yawatmal, the Zilla Parishad Upper Primary School in Bangaon Yavatmal witnessed a remarkable change with the installation of a 2.5KW Off Grid Roof Top System accompanied by a 150AH battery. This system powers six classrooms, a smart classroom, approximately 12 ceiling fans, 8 tube lights, and an office room. This development has not only facilitated a better learning environment but has also underscored the importance of sustainable energy practices.
These projects by the Avaada Foundation exemplify how renewable energy can be a cornerstone in advancing educational facilities, providing a sustainable and efficient solution while fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
