At Avaada Foundation, our work is not just about providing resources; it’s about restoring dignity, independence, and hope. Recent stories from Nokhda, Bikaner, Agar Malwa, and Bharukheera remind us how small acts of kindness can create profound change.
Rakesh, a 14-year-old 7th-grade student in Nokhda, had been struggling to attend school due to his disability. Every day was a challenge—reaching his classroom, completing tasks, and keeping pace with his peers. But everything changed when he received a tricycle. Now, Rakesh attends school on time, his face glowing with pride and independence. What we have given him is not just a tricycle; it is the freedom to dream big and pursue his future without barriers.
Kavita Gujjar, from Agar Malwa, is another story of courage and transformation. Polio had taken away her ability to stand or walk, yet she refused to let it break her spirit. For months, she came to our stitching center using her hands for mobility, determined to learn and earn a livelihood. With your support, Kavita now moves with the dignity and strength she so richly deserves, thanks to her new electric tricycle. Watching her reclaim her independence is an unforgettable moment for all of us.
In Bharukheera, Bikaner, two tricycles were provided for three individuals to share, multiplying the joy and utility of this gift. Seeing their gratitude and relief is a reminder of the deeply meaningful nature of this work.
These are not just stories of mobility; they are stories of freedom, resilience, and dreams reignited. Every tricycle we provide is a step towards a world where no disability limits a person’s potential. We are humbled and inspired to witness these transformations and remain committed to creating more moments of empowerment.
Together, we can keep turning lives around—one tricycle, one dream, one person at a time.
