When Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi adopted Jayapur village in Varanasi under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, it marked the beginning of a new chapter of rural transformation. Since then, the Avaada Foundation has been working relentlessly to nurture Jayapur into a model village — one where education, empowerment, environment, and health come together to shape a brighter future.
Education: Nurturing Young Minds
Digital learning is thriving through a computer centre with 24 systems, where over 800 students have been trained, and 9 secured jobs.
The Code Vidya Program, a 6-month intensive coding course, has empowered 300 students in just two years, opening doors to opportunities in labs, banks, corporates, YouTube content creation, and pharmacies.
To build holistic skills, students benefit from Vedic Maths and Spoken English classes, alongside a library of ~1,500 books run by a storytelling and reading-support teacher.
Avaada Foundation also renovated the Government Primary School in Jayapur, equipping it with 2 smart boards, modern furniture, bookshelves, and teaching-learning materials.
Over the years, 350 school bags and 1,000 T-shirts have been distributed, while 15 teachers were felicitated and supported with training and laptop bags.
Scholarship programs have supported 22 school students for three years and one ITI student, while two underprivileged students received full IIT preparatory sponsorship and are now studying in reputed engineering colleges.
Beyond classrooms, students engage in quizzes, rangoli competitions, rakhi making, public speaking, and awareness rallies — shaping them into confident future leaders.

The Knitting Centre in Jayapur, with 5 rooms, has provided sustainable employment to 75 women for over 10 years and was recently renovated.
Through collaborations with women’s empowerment NGOs, 8 homemakers have found meaningful employment.
The Advanced Stitching Centre, operational for a decade, has trained thousands of women, many of whom became entrepreneurs. 25 stitching bags were also distributed to budding professionals.
The Navkiran Beautician Centre provided 3-month training to 60 women; 5 opened their own parlours, while 20 now earn through bridal makeovers.
Job fairs organised in the region saw 1,200 registrations and 250 placements, with the next fair targeting 300 successful jobs.
To prepare youth for a changing world, sessions on entrepreneurship, motivation, and cyber awareness were conducted, paving pathways to local employment.
Environment: Greening Jayapur
Sustainability has been woven into Jayapur’s growth story
Avaada Foundation installed two 25 KW solar power plants, providing clean energy to the community.
Annual tree plantation drives across schools, panchayats, anganwadis, and roadsides have not only improved greenery but also built environmental consciousness.
Awareness campaigns continue to educate villagers about sustainability and the importance of protecting natural resources.
Health & Well-being: Caring for Every Life
Healthy communities are the foundation of lasting progress.
Avaada Foundation organised health camps and leprosy & TB awareness sessions for more than 500 villagers.
During floods, 500 affected families received medicines and fruits.
Nutrition aid through ration distribution and monthly support of food and medicines is provided to 10 needy individuals consistently.
Initiatives like the Healthy Baby Competition and mother guidance sessions encourage better maternal and child health.
International Yoga Day celebrations have touched 10,000+ beneficiaries, spreading awareness of holistic well-being.
From cleanliness and sanitation campaigns to a free Kumbh Mela trip for villagers, Avaada has enriched community life in meaningful ways.
