The Quiet Transformation: A Dedicated Study Centre Unlocks Futures for Shivapur’s Youth

In the heart of Shivapur village, Chalisgaon, Maharashtra, a quiet but powerful transformation is taking place. Until recently, the young aspirants of the village had no dedicated space to study or prepare for government examinations and higher education. With limited facilities, group study and focused preparation were a daily challenge.

Recognising this pressing need, the village Sarpanch and local youth approached Avaada Foundation with a heartfelt request: to create a dedicated centre where students could gather, learn, and support one another in their academic journeys. Avaada Foundation listened — and acted.

A brand-new building was constructed in Shivapur village, designed specifically for students and youth preparing for government exams and other competitive pursuits. But we didn’t stop there. To ensure a truly enabling environment, the Foundation provided shelves for books, installed ceiling fans, lights, study tables, and chairs — creating a comfortable, well-lit, and resourceful space for learning. We also supplied a range of competitive exam books, general knowledge books and other study material to make learning more accessible and effective for the youth.

Today, this “Youth Library Centre” is alive with energy and hope. More than 25 young people regularly use the centre to study, collaborate, and chase their dreams of becoming tomorrow’s leaders and public servants.

Avaada Foundation remains proud to stand alongside rural communities like Shivapur, turning aspirations into opportunities — and simple buildings into beacons of learning.
