Batting for Her Dreams: Sponsoring  Young Women Cricketers in Rajasthan

At a time when Indian women’s cricket is inspiring millions, Avaada Foundation is proud to play its part in nurturing the next generation of champions from rural India.

The Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in november 2025  to support and sponsor the Rajasthan state-level Under-17 and Under-19 girls’ cricket teams from Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Badnu (Bikaner) for the next two years. Having already supported these teams over the past year, this formal partnership strengthens a shared commitment to talent, discipline, and dreams.

Removing Barriers, Creating Opportunities

To ensure the girls can focus fully on their sport, Avaada Foundation is bearing all expenses, including:

  • Travel and transport for matches and tournaments
  • Food and nutrition during training, travel, and competitions
  • Sports kits, shoes, and equipment
  • Match and tournament fees
  • Sports ground and practice facility costs
  • Logistics and study material

By removing financial barriers, the Foundation aims to give these young athletes the freedom to train, compete, and excel with confidence.

Rising Through Performance

The impact of this support is already visible.

  • The Under-17 team, current state champions, has won the 69th State-Level Cricket Tournament and will represent Rajasthan at the National Championships in Telangana (January 2026).
  • The Under-19 team, state runners-up, is set to compete in the Nationals at Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh (January 2026).

These achievements stand as a testament to the talent and determination of girls from rural Rajasthan—when given the right support.

More Than Sponsorship—A Partnership in Belief

The MoU was signed by the Director of Avaada Foundation, the School Management Committee, and the parents of the players, reinforcing a collective promise to nurture both sporting excellence and personal growth.

Avaada Foundation believes that sports is a powerful medium for empowerment, building confidence, discipline, and leadership. By standing firmly behind these young cricketers, the Foundation is not just supporting a team—it is championing dreams, resilience, and a more inclusive sporting future.

As these girls step onto national grounds and aspire for international arenas, Avaada Foundation will continue to stand by them—bat for bat, match for match, dream for dream.
