Water plays a critical role in plantation survival, especially in water-stressed regions. Avaada Foundation integrates water-efficient solutions and scientific plantation management into its environmental programmes.

Avaada Foundation has installed drip-irrigation systems at plantation sites in Pangaon, Dhamangaon and Khamgaon in Maharashtra; Banda in Uttar Pradesh; and Nokhada and Bhadla-II in Rajasthan. It has developed a borewell at Banda, while farm ponds support water availability at Pangaon in Maharashtra and Trichy in Tamil Nadu.
At Nokhada, Bikaner, the Foundation has developed a scientifically managed date-palm plantation. Quality planting material, drip irrigation, technical supervision and continuous monitoring have helped it achieve an impressive 95% survival rate.
Community participation remains central to these environmental conservation initiatives. Avaada Foundation works closely with local communities, government bodies and educational institutions to build collective responsibility towards nature.
Through initiatives such as Hug a Tree, Ek Paudh Maa Ke Naam and Har Ghar Kheti Baghwani, the Foundation promotes the message of “Go Green, Save Trees.” These campaigns encourage students, teachers, parents, employees and local communities to participate actively in plantation and environmental conservation.
