At Avaada Foundation, we believe that true progress is measured not only by the energy we generate but also by the lives we transform. Alongside Avaada Group’s 133 MW Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Project across the villages of Kaij and Kallam in Maharashtra, we have worked hand-in-hand with communities to create lasting social impact through our focus on Education, Empowerment, Healthcare, and Environment.
Over the past year, we strengthened educational infrastructure by constructing and renovating toilets and drinking water facilities in schools at Yevta, Shindi, and Massajog, ensuring a safer and healthier learning environment for more than 600 students and over 1,000 villagers. We distributed 350 school bags to government school students, classroom furniture, and teaching aids, while our year-long free coaching centres in Kasari and Yevta empowered children with stronger foundations in Mathematics, English, and Science. Through sports activities and a vibrant summer camp, we encouraged students to learn, grow, and discover their potential.
We empowered rural women by conducting advanced level no cost Avaada Nav Kiran Stitching Centre in Lahuri, where more than 90 women began their journey toward financial independence and self-confidence through skill development.
One of our most impactful interventions has been addressing the critical challenge of water accessibility in Vida village. Avaada Foundation established a permanent drinking water infrastructure by constructing a 15,000-litre drinking water station along with three 5,000-litre precast water storage tanks, ensuring year-round access to safe drinking water. This transformative initiative has significantly reduced the daily burden of fetching water, particularly for women and elderly residents, while improving water security for more than 300 households. Beyond providing a basic necessity, the project has enhanced community well-being, saved valuable time for families, and strengthened the village’s resilience against seasonal water shortages, creating a lasting impact for generations to come. We also inspired healthy lifestyles through International Yoga Day celebrations involving nearly 300 students and teachers.
Our commitment to sustainability came alive through large-scale tree plantation drives, fostering environmental responsibility among employees and community members alike.
Beyond infrastructure and services, we stood beside families in times of need by extending lifetime financial and educational support to an orphaned child, enhancing public safety through CCTV installations in Kaij, and enabling nearly 400 villagers to undertake educational and cultural trip in 7 buses.
Together, these initiatives have strengthened communities, created opportunities, and reaffirmed our commitment to building a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
