From Thirst to Trust: Changing Lives with the Gift of Clean Water

Access to safe drinking water is fundamental to health, dignity, and sustainable development. Across India, Avaada Foundation has taken meaningful steps to address water scarcity and improve access to clean drinking water through community-focused infrastructure projects. Through the installation of RO systems, water stations, storage tanks, borewells, and filtration units, we have transformed lives and strengthened communities in multiple states.

In Badaun, 2 schools in Mathura, Dadri, and Pavagada, we installed RO water purification systems in schools, ensuring that students have access to safe drinking water and a healthier learning environment. These interventions have helped reduce health risks and support better educational outcomes.

In Dhamangaon, Maharashtra, we established a clean drinking water facility that eased the burden on families, particularly women, who previously spent hours fetching water. In Agar Malwa, Madhya Pradesh, we installed five water filters, extending access to safe water for underserved communities.

In Rajasthan, we strengthened water security by installing drinking water systems in Bikaner, Nokhra, and Barmer, including a 2,000-litre water storage facility. In Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, we constructed 2,000-litre water stations each in Chichlik, Khodaila, Basuhari, and Adgud, ensuring reliable access to clean drinking water for rural families.

In Beed district, Maharashtra, we installed 8,000-litre water storage tanks and 15,000-litre water storage tanks along with multi-tap water stations, along with 3 5,000- litre precast water storage tanks,  benefiting more than 20,000 residents. In Chinchala Village, Nanded district, we drilled a borewell, constructed a dedicated water station room, and initiated the installation of a 1000 LPH RO purification system to provide safe, treated drinking water.

We also supported communities in Surendranagar, Gujarat, and Khamgaon, Maharashtra, by establishing clean water storage systems that encourage community ownership and long-term sustainability.

Through these initiatives, Avaada Foundation is not only addressing water scarcity but also improving health, reducing hardships, strengthening resilience, and creating opportunities for communities to thrive. What was once a daily struggle for water is now a pathway to dignity, security, and a better quality of life.
