At Avaada Foundation, we continue to work in the villages surrounding our 200 MW (280 MW DC) Bhokar Solar Project in Nanded district, Maharashtra, creating sustainable development opportunities in Chinchala and Kolgaon villages. Through focused interventions in education, healthcare, water, sanitation, and livelihood development, we are improving the quality of life for rural communities.
In Chinchala, we strengthened access to safe drinking water by establishing a water station, borewell, and a 1000 LPH RO purification system. We improved school sanitation by renovating separate toilet facilities for girls and boys, creating a safer and more hygienic learning environment, and built a library. We continue to conduct health check-up camps that provide preventive healthcare services and health awareness to villagers.
To support education, we operate free tuition classes for three hours in an integrated space, computer training programs, and month long summer camps for 3 hours that help students strengthen their academic performance, digital literacy, creativity, and overall development. We have also established and conducting advanced level free stitching training centers that equip women with vocational skills and enhance livelihood opportunities.
In Kolgaon, we strengthened educational infrastructure by constructing a kitchen room at the government higher secondary school, built a library and enhanced classroom learning by providing a Smart Board in that school. We continue to conduct computer classes, health camps, and 15 days long summer learning programmes for students, exposure visits, fancy dress Competition, story telling, public speaking and other activities.
At Avaada Navkiran Centre, we provide free advanced level stitching and makeup and beauty training that empowers women with market-oriented skills, promotes entrepreneurship, and creates income-generation opportunities.
Across both villages, we continue to operate free tuition centres,no cost AI based advanced level computer training classes, stitching centres, and beauty and makeup training programmes. These initiatives strengthen educational outcomes, improve employability, enhance digital literacy, and support sustainable livelihoods.
