For over 12 years, we have been working alongside communities across Uttar Pradesh with a simple belief: lasting change happens when people are given the opportunity, support, and confidence to shape their own futures. Through our efforts in education, empowerment, healthcare, sports, environmental sustainability, and rural development, we have been creating pathways that enable individuals and communities to thrive.
Education remains at the heart of our work. Across Sonbhadra, Varanasi, Mathura, Dadri, and Badaun, we are strengthening government schools through infrastructure upgrades, smart classrooms, libraries, playgrounds, water stations, toilets, cycle stands, and rainwater harvesting systems, creating better learning environments for thousands of students. In tribal communities across Chichlik, Khodaila, Basuhari, Adgud, and Mau, we have been supporting teacher training, remedial education, computer learning centres,libraries and digital literacy initiatives. Our efforts include the distribution of 50 educational tablets, more than 2,000 school uniforms, over 500 bicycles, scholarships, IIT coaching, ITI electrician and fitter training, and learning materials. Through camps, sports, yoga, and educational activities, we have been engaging more than 5,000 school and Anganwadi children, helping them build confidence and broaden their aspirations.
In Jayapur and Nagepur, the Prime Minister-adopted Adarsh Grams of Varanasi, we have been deepening educational opportunities through school renovation, AI-enabled digital literacy, spoken English programmes, scholarships, career counselling, teacher training, and exposure visits that are opening new possibilities for children and youth.
Beyond education, our ‘Avaada Community Development Centres’ have been empowering youth and women through free coaching, advanced digital literacy, stitching, crochet, and livelihood development programmes. More than 820 women have already benefitted from these initiatives, while entrepreneurship workshops, market linkages, and employment partnerships are helping many move towards financial independence and self-reliance. Alongside these efforts, Community welfare initiatives, including clothing distribution, wedding assistance, winter relief, social security camps, and emergency support, have also been reaching vulnerable families.
We also believe that development must nurture confidence and wellbeing. Through sports infrastructure, tournaments, summer camps, and sports kit support, over 8,800 young people have participated in activities that foster teamwork, discipline, and leadership. At the same time, our healthcare initiatives have benefitted more than 16,000 individuals through nutritional support, health screening camps, malaria testing, BMI drives, eye and dental camps, cataract surgeries, and blood donation drives.
Environmental stewardship remains integral to our approach. We have been nurturing greener communities through plantation drives, water conservation programmes, cleanliness campaigns, and environmental awareness initiatives. As a result, more than 15,500 trees have been planted across multiple districts. In Banda alone, our plantation efforts have contributed over 2000 saplings, strengthening local biodiversity and reinforcing community participation in environmental conservation. We have also been supporting rural electrification through solar-powered infrastructure, inverter systems, and street lighting solutions that improve safety, support learning, and enhance quality of life.
For us, the story of Uttar Pradesh is not measured only through numbers. It is reflected in every student pursuing higher education, every youth securing meaningful employment, every woman earning with confidence, and every family embracing new opportunities. More than 50 village youth have already secured employment opportunities, while many others are building careers through skill development, mentorship, and guidance.
Twelve years on, our journey in Uttar Pradesh is still unfolding. Across villages, schools are becoming vibrant learning spaces, sports grounds are nurturing confidence and aspiration, and Community Development Centres are serving as platforms for opportunity and growth. Every scholarship awarded, every skill learned, every job secured, and every dream realised reflects the true impact of our collective efforts. We are continuing to invest in people, strengthen institutions, and create pathways that enable communities to shape their own futures. Because real impact is not measured only by the number of lives touched, but by the number of lives transformed.
